Travelling Tom

The 'Travelling Tom' road-trip was a completely unique experience. Shijo's induction session was both wonderful, and as it turns out, completely necessary to understand this beautiful beast of a vehicle. Once you get used to the idea of seeing the world as a snail (your home being on your back) it is a fantastically free perspective to see the world. Thanks Shijoo!

We had a fantastic time driving around the eastern part of Victoria with the camping van Tom. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely seamless. Shijo took plenty of time during the handover to explain everything clearly, which made us feel very comfortable and confident right away. The van was in excellent condition honestly, probably the best camper weve ever rented. What really stood out was the personal touch. Everything was fuss-free, communication was easy, and the whole process felt smooth and well thought out. We would happily rent Tom (or Jerry) again in the future. Travelling Tom was exactly what we needed. All things needed for a week long trip on the Great Ocean Road. High quality and well maintained motorhome. Very easy to drive, set up and move on. Pick up and drop off very convenient near train station. Shijo answered any questions I had promptly. Highly recommend for a family if 4 (two adults and 2 teens).

Our family time in/with the van was great! We wanted a different/new adventure and definitely we got what we wanted. The van fulfilled our expectations. Driving/mechanic wise no problem it works and performs as expected. Inside as well, all features works fine. Shijo is really supportive and responsive to our doubts/questions and requests. Thanks for that!. As general conclusion it is a good experience worth to be done.

This Camper Van was honestly the largest assets of my trip. Everything that we could have possible needed was already included, conveniently located and in immaculate condition. I could not have asked for a better experience!

Recently hired Tom for 15 days, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment I started communicating with Shijo, I knew I was in good hands. He was incredibly responsive, friendly, and provided all the necessary information upfront. He even gave me tips on the best routes and places to visit. The motorhome itself was a dream to drive. It was smooth and easy to handle, even on longer journeys. The ride was comfortable, and me & my family felt safe throughout the entire trip. The motorhome was well-maintained and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were cozy, and there was plenty of storage space. Overall, this motorhome hire exceeded our expectations. The communication with the owner was top-notch, the ride was smooth, and the amenities were perfect. I would highly recommend this motorhome hire to anyone looking for a fantastic & safe family road trip experience. We will definitely be hiring it again for our next adventure.

Shijo was super helpful. We had a last minute cancellation with another camplify owner and Shijo accepted the booking last minute and was such a great help. His campervan is excellent, with amazing amenities.

We hired the Tom, a Mercedes-Benz engine campervan, from Explore by Travelling for an 8-day trip to South Australia. It drove smoothly, had good pickup, and was spacious for our family of four, with all the essentials included. Shijo communicated well and ensured we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

This was a great van for a family trip away. Excellent handover was provided by Thomas in person with very detailed instructions, the van has comfortable beds, handled very well on the road, was fuel efficient, and Thomas was available whenever I contacted him with any queries.

Shijo, is amazing great communication and customer service. Our second time hiring and was just as good as the last. Would recommend Shijo's services anytime. Facilities are amazing. The motor home has everything you need for a family holiday. Beds are super comfy; have all the cooking utensils you may need even an espresso machine complimentary coffee and tea. Great van to use, very comfortable, easy to use, easy to drive
